Any Surface within Surface/Compartment can be toggled as an Obstruction". This is done via the Container View Tree. When generating the container arrangement, any containers that are obstructed are then automatically removed from the arrangement.
However, it may be required to manually remove some containers.
To remove or reinstate any containers, select either
-
a number of cell ranges
-
a number of columns
-
a number of rows
then click the Right Mouse button and select one of the following menu items:
-
Remove - to mark the containers as removed
-
Reinstate - to reinstate any containers that have been previously removed
-
Toggle - to toggle the state of the containers between removed and present.
Note:
When releasing bay definition information to Hydrostatics, containers that have been removed by you or removed due to obstructions are treated the same. To Hydrostatics, they have been simply removed.
The following table gives the possible status combinations:

A container that was marked as Obstructed, but then also becomes Invalid, does not lose its Obstructed flag. If it subsequently becomes valid again, then it is set as Obstructed, not as Present.
