Irregular Response Output

When a set of short term calculations has been run, the irregular motion results are included in the report. The following are provided at 30 degree heading intervals:

  • RMS ship motions for the 6 degrees of freedom.

and if specified:

  • Rates of change of ship motions.

  • Mean added resistance.

  • Vertical and lateral bending moments, vertical and lateral shear forces and torsional moments, at specified sections.

  • RMS total motions at specified locations.

  • Hourly incidence of seakeeping events (immersion, emergence, slamming) at specified locations.
