Reserved Area Definition

The reserved areas are created in a NOTE below the BACK and are set by default as invisible for normal use, since the reserved area rectangles are not required to be seen on the final drawing. To make the rectangles visible, set the NOTE attribute LVIS to TRUE.

Each reserved area is defined by a TABL element which is defined in a specific way to provide certain data to the Assembly Drawing application.

spPurp ASMBLY

Identifies the table as a assembly properties table.

spPurp PARTSL

Identifies the table as a parts list table.

This is the purpose of a TABL so that the application can find it.
