Pipe Stress Interface R2

The Pipe Stress Interface R2 User Guide provides guidance to the piping/stress engineer on how to use and configure the PSI-R2 application to:

  • Create a Rohr2 NTR format file from pipe lines in PDMS,

  • Import the deformed model with displacement for display,

  • How stress data for respective PDMS hanger attachment point can be imported.

The Pipe Stress Interface-R2 is an efficient link between PDMS and Rohr2. The PSI-R2 application allows the to select pipe lines in PDMS to create a Rohr2 NTR(Neutral) format file. The geometries and pipe attachment point data are transferred to the NTR format file. After the stress calculation in Rohr2, the deformed model of displacement can be transferred to PDMS and can be shown in the model. It is also possible to transfer the stress data to the respective PDMS attributes of the pipe attachment points, for later use for hanger and support design.
