Show/Hide Unset and Nulref Values

If unset and nulref values are to be displayed in the current list, check the Show Unset/Nulref checkbox in the Grid Options group of the View tab. Uncheck the checkbox of such values are not to be displayed.

Show/Hide Leading Slashes

Some values, such as Name and SYSYFS are prefixed with a slash. To hide this slash in the current list, uncheck the Show leading slash checkbox in the Grid Options group of the View tab. Check the checkbox is the slashes are to be displayed.

Feedback Colors

The background colors of cells indicate if:

  • They are read-only.

  • An unsuccessful attempt has been made to edit their contents (for example, if an invalid entry was made), or a required data is missing (that means, in the case of a blank cell that should be completed).

  • Their contents have been edited successfully.

  • To highlight various conditions, for example that their contents have been claimed (See Manage Claims for further information).

In the example below the cell with the blue background was edited successfully, the cell with the pink background was not edited successfully, and the cells with a grey background are read-only.

The colors used to indicate these conditions can be specified by the user for each list.

To edit cell feedback colors, click Feedback Colours in the Grid Options group of the View tab and select the required option from the menu that is then displayed.

A standard color selection dialog box is then displayed.

Select the required color and click OK.

To reset the feedback colors of a list to the default colors select the Reset Feedback Colours option from the Feedback Colors menu.

To clear feedback cell coloring from a list, click Reset cell feedback in the Grid Actions group of the Home tab.
