Calculation Geometry

Purpose

To export a compartment’s arrangements and zone limits to the calc module for hydrostatic calculations.

Prerequisites

To have content types and compartment categories transferred in a correct way to the Hydrostatics module, the spaces need to be defined with purpose definitions that are associated with specific type definitions.

The type definitions shall be user defined, see Space Purpose, and given a unique id. The description needs to be specified either as Liquid, Solid, Grain or Untrimmed and the density associated with the type definition is the one that is used for the associated space.

Instructions

Select a compartment arrangement, envelope and zone limits in the displayed dialog. Give the name of the output file to be used.

Result

An XML file that can be read by calc is generated.
