A particular subset of stored curves can be displayed using either the View Settings dialog, the Select Curves dialog or the Curve Tree.

Display selected curves

  1. Use the View Settings dialog to display stored curves for either the aft or fore body. For example to display the aft sections only, in a section view.

  2. Assign the view to a graphics window by using the icon from the View toolbar or in the Orientation Page of the dialog select the Section option and click Apply.

  3. Select the Sections and Aft options and click the Apply button in the Display page of the dialog.

  4. Use the Select Curves dialog to display one or more selected curves of a particular type.

  5. To access the dialog, click the icon.

The dialog can be used to display curves selected as a range, a series or from the curve list using the cursor.

  6. Enter the range of values in the From edit box and the Incr edit box.For example, to display every integer section from 0 to 20, enter the value 0 in From edit box, 20 in the To edit box and 1 in the Incr edit box.

  7. Select Range.

The curves will be highlighted in the list.

  8. Select Display.

  9. If more than one graphics window is in use, the curves will be drawn to the active view.

The Select Curves dialog tree structure can be expanded or collapsed by clicking the Left Mouse button over the plus and minus boxes in the list (Note: Double clicking over the 'branch' name with the Left Mouse button will also expand or collapse the tree). If a plus box is selected, the tree will expand, that means, selecting the Surface plus box will expand the tree down one level, displaying all surfaces within the Lines system. Clicking the minus box will then collapse the tree, hiding all surfaces. Individual items in the tree can be selected with the mouse and multiple selections can be made when holding the <Ctrl> or <SHIFT> key down while selecting.

Similar operations are available from the Curve Tree in the main window. Operations to display, modify, switch on and off, and delete curves are available from a popup menu activated by the Right Mouse button.
