Purpose: |
This dialog is to be used to interface with the Functional Properties object. |
|
Prerequisites: |
The environment should point to a "valid" OGDB. |
|
How to do: |
When initially displayed the dialog will attempt to load the values from the functional property object. You can in-place edit the index number and the value (text) of the functional property. Note that the information edited in the dialog will not overwrite the information on the functional property object, it will merge in to it. Ex. If the user edits the text corresponding to a functional property index, the text for this index will be changed in the functional property object. But if you change the number of a functional property, that will introduce a new functional property without removing the functional property with the old index from the object. The "Add" button simply supplies with an "empty" row for entering new functional property index/value. If the functional property text is empty - the functional property with this index is removed from the object, during the merge. |
|
Options: |
None. |
|
Result: |
When you press the "OK" button, a merge procedure will be called. When you press "Cancel" no merge will follow and the data in the object will be unchanged. |
