Form for Additional Surfaces

The Additional Surfaces... button of the main form activates a dialog which can be used as an interface to describe additional surfaces in the hull reference object. (The main surfaces (shell and deck) are defined in the main form). The additional surfaces are defined via the secondary form by giving the surface name, the surface suffix to be added to the group names of composed names. The extra surfaces should also be characterised as Shell or Deck. In certain cases this attribute is irrelevant and then any of the options can be used. Pressing Add will extend the surface table, Delete will remove the highlighted extra surface. OK will return control to the main form with the added surfaces whereas Cancel will leave the object as before.

When you press the Create Object button in the main form the Hull Reference object will be created and stored. In all cases the result from Create Object will be a dialog informing you about success or possible errors and conflicts.

When you press Extract Data from DB the dialog will not warn you of losing changed information and any such will be lost during the extraction process.
