Below are some of the Hull commands used for reading from and writing to the database.

Command

Action

Comment

Activate

Activate panel(s) for update.

Called ‘select’ in Curved Hull modelling.

Apply

Accept changes to the activated panels. Make the framework aware of the changes made.

Previously called ‘store’.

Deactivate

Deactivate panels and revert changes.

Previously called ‘Skip’.

Apply and Deactivate

Accept changes and deactivate the panels.

Previously called ‘store and skip’.

SaveWork

Commit changes to Dabacon. Make the changes available to other sessions.

GetWork

Get the latest updates from Dabacon (from other sessions).

Unclaim

Unclaim all or selected elements.
