Fit Original Sections

The original sections can then be fitted using only the Plines to check that the new sections accurately model the original sections. Uncheck the Waterlines, Buttocks and Accept options in the Fit page of the Fairing dialog and select All. This allows the user to assess the quality and distribution of the Plines without actually refitting and storing the sections. If only a selection of sections are required, select the required ones in the Curve Tree, click the Right Mouse buttons and select the Fit button. This will present the Fairing dialog ready to fit the selected curves. New Clines/Plines can be constructed if the new sections do not sufficiently reproduce the original sections.

Additionally where knuckle/tangent curves have been used in the initial fairing, the user can generate angle curves, based on the original sections, to give additional control.

The original sections should now be refit using the updated 3D curves.
