Prerequisities

Before running any idealisation, a FEMWLD element needs to be created. Otherwise the user will get the message ‘A FEMWLD element needs to be created before this function can be used’. This can be done either in DbPrompt when setting up the project or directly in Hull Structural Design from the command window by typing;

NEW FEMWLD /FEMWLDNAME DB DBNAME

with FEMWLDNAME being the name of the world element to be created and DBNAME the name of an existing design database.
