CURVE \ STRAIGHTEN

Creates a straight-line segment within a curve between two selected data points, with a smooth (tangent continuous) transition at the segment ends.

CURVE \ ARC

Launches the Arc Tool for creating circular arc segments in active curves.

CURVE \ INSERT DATA POINTS

Toggles data point insertion mode, indicated by the cursor becoming an asterisk-like symbol, . To use this function a data point or curve must first be selected.

Position the cursor in any of the three orthogonal views and click the Left Mouse button to insert a data point. The new point will be inserted into the data point sequence immediately a selected data point, or at the closest point to a selected curve. A double-click inserts a final point and exits point insertion mode. Data point insertion mode can be exited at any time by clicking <Esc>.

CURVE \ INSERT SPLIT POINTS

Toggles split point insertion mode, indicated by the cursor becoming an asterisk-like symbol, . To use this function, the user must first select a region of an active curve that has its split points displayed.

Each click of the Left Mouse button in a graphics window causes a split point to be inserted into the curve at the point nearest to the cursor. A double-click of the LMB inserts the final split point, and exits split point insertion mode. Split point insertion mode can be exited any time by clicking <Esc>.

CURVE \ EDIT CURVE INTERSECTIONS

Enters the Edit Curve Intersections mode, in which the intersections between active curves can be moved, altering all curves which pass through selected intersections.

CURVE \ SHOW INTERSECTION CURVATURE

When in Edit Curve Intersections mode then the curvature is shown for all curves which pass through selected intersections to aid curve fairing.

CURVE \ NEW...

Launches the Create New Curve Dialog used to create new curves.

CURVE \ USE AS GUIDE...

Launches the Data Point Snapping Dialog. To use this function, an active curve must be selected, and this is set as the default guide curve.
