The overall purpose of Planar Hull Modelling is to generate a 3D model of the ship and to develop drawings.

This corresponds to three different main activities of Planar Hull Modelling:

  1. Generation of the model.

  2. Deriving drawing information from the model.

  3. Development of the drawing.
