Lets you stretch (increase) or trim (decrease) the dimensions of the constituent primitives of an equipment.
-
To stretch or trims a primitive by moving one of its p-points, which must be on an 'end' of the primitive, to the position of another p-point, which can be on another primitive or (trimming only) the same primitive.
-
The user must select the primitive (that is, from the design explorer).

-
Select Modify > Stretch/Trim > To P-Point.
-
Use the cursor to pick the p-point to be stretched / trimmed.

-
Now use the cursor again to pick the p-point to stretch / trim the first p-point to.
A Confirm dialog box appears asking ‘Return CYLI to original size and position?’.
-
Click No.

Note: If two edge p-points on the same primitive are selected, the distance between the two points will become zero. The procedure cannot be used to invert a primitive and the procedure is not applicable to nozzles or toruses.
