Presets Page

This page is used to create viewports for the preset standard Plot Arrangements shown on the relevant buttons. Once the basic viewports have been generated they can be modified via the other pages.

Create a Viewport

1. Enter the required Generation Parameters.

2. In the Scale field, specify the scale as 1/n, where n is your input value.

3. To add a grid:

   • Select Auto for a system-defined grid, or

   • Select Curves for a grid based on stored orthogonal curves.

   If a grid is specified, enable the Numbers toggle to output grid line values.

4. Specify the Gap Width (in media units) to define the gap between viewports where relevant.

5. In the Media Position Bottom Left panel, set a media coordinate (U and V) to specify the position the plot arrangement relative to the bottom-left corner of the paper.

6. Define the Width and Height of characters displayed with the viewports (axis labels) in media units.

7. Click the Relevant button to generate the basic viewports.
