An envelope is a simple way to temporarily hide any subpicture on a drawing. This can improve the response time when working with large drawings. The subpicture will be replaced by an envelope symbol of the same size as the subpicture min-max-rectangle. The size of the drawing will not change as all the information in the envelope is kept in the drawing.
