Accept Curve Dialog

  1. Select Accept to save the current curve to the working design.

  2. Change the curve type by selecting the As checkbox and then selecting a new type from the dropdown list.

  3. Select a new name/position for the curve, as appropriate.

  4. If you do not want to save the curve, select Cancel to allow for further modification of the curve to take place.

Important: When a curve is accepted as a different curve type and the destination type has a constraint (for example, sections are in a fixed X-plane, the stem profile is in the centerplane) then the source curve is altered to adhere to the constraint. For example if a pline is copied to a section, all X values pertaining to the pline are changed to the chosen section position. If the constraint causes a degeneracy in the destination curve, then the accept will fail.
