Copy Selected to Another Structure

Copy Selected to Another Structure allows you to select sections under a structure (STRU) element, which can then be copied to another structure.

You must make a graphical selection of the elements to be copied in a 3D graphical view.

1. Click Copy Selected to Another Structure.

   You are prompted to Pick Owner Element.

2. Pick an element belonging to the target structure.

   The selected elements are copied to that structure.

   The copied elements are in the same position and orientation relative to the target structure element as they were in the original structure element. If the two structure elements have the same position and orientation then the copied elements are in the same position as the original selected elements. The new copied elements are put in the current graphical selection, and the Model Editor handle is shown so that these elements can be repositioned after they have been copied.
