The Toolbar

Most of the Viewer functionality can be accessed via the available toolbar buttons as shown below:
File opening

Open file… |
Opens the atx file for viewing. This is identical to the Open… command in the File menu described in The Main Menu. |
Selection Tools
|
|
Select object |
Switches to object selection mode. Left-click in the display window to select the object (panel, longitudinal etc). |

|
Select part |
Switches to part selection mode. Left-click in the display window to select part (plate, stiffener etc). |
|
|
Select point |
Switches to point selection mode. Left-click in the display window in close neighbourhood of a start point to add it to selected points list. If several start points are within selection range, the one closest to the eye will be added. The same start point cannot be added twice. |

|
Frame zoom |
Switches to frame zoom mode. Left-click the mouse button in the display window and move the mouse to set the zooming frame. Zoom will be performed as soon as left mouse button is released. |

Point zoom |
Switches to point zoom mode. Hold down the left mouse button in the rendered panel and move then mouse up/down to zoom in/out. |

|
Rotate |
Switches to rotation mode. Hold down the left mouse button in the display window to fix rotation center, then move the mouse to rotate. |
|
|
Slide |
Switches to slide mode. Hold down the left mouse button in the display window and move the mouse to move the model. |
Note: The current tool can also be selected via context menu invoked by Right-clicking in the display window.
Display options

Show primary (+) volumes |
Only primary positive volumes will be drawn. No holes are subtracted. |
|
|
Show final (+) volumes |
Final positive volumes will be drawn (holes applied). |
|
|
Show final (+) volumes with (-) volumes drafting |
Final positive volumes will be drawn (holes applied). In addition, all negative volumes will be translucently sketched, and user will be able to select negative parts by clicking them in part selection mode. |

Switches between shaded and skeleton view. |
