Profgen

Add the line CHECK_PROFGEN=YES to the restriction file to activate the feature. The restrictions are only checked in this module if the user gives IP SPLITPROF.

For Profgen it is also possible to get the profile controlled against available stock material as specified in the profile stock-number file (SBH_PROF_STOCKNO). This check is controlled by the keyword CHECK_STOCKNO in the restriction file and replaces the one made against the MAX_PROF parameter. Possible values for CHECK_STOCKNO are:

• IGNORE - no check is made

• WARNING - warning printed, profile stored on SB_OGDB and SBH_PROFDB.

• ERROR - warning printed, profile stored on SB_OGDB but NOT stored on SBH_PROFDB

  Note: CHECK_STOCKNO has no effect if CHECK_PROFGEN=NO or not given.

Any warning messages will be printed in the log file.
