This page is used to enter default values for the Thickness and Density of the Main Envelope and internals. In addition, default percentage added weights for Brackets, etc and Stiffeners are also entered here, as well as additional weight for accommodation given as weight per area unit. These values are used as defaults whenever a new envelope or internal is created. However, these values may then be modified, so that each internal may have a different thickness, etc if required.

These values are used when performing a Preliminary Weight Analysis, to calculate an approximate value for the total weight of the shell and internals within a given volume of the ship.
