Insulation

Purpose

A space arrangement of type Layout contains the necessary attributes to store insulation information on the space boundaries. The function allows the user to select insulation from the catalogue and apply it on space boundaries.

Prerequisites

The set-up in catalogue and database must have been made. Refer to Insulation Components for further information.

Instructions

1. Select an insulation component from the drop-down list in the displayed dialogue.

2. Pick the space to be updated and then pick space boundaries to be updated with the selected insulation component.

3. The Option button gives the possibility to change selection of insulation component.

4. The Operation Complete button gives the possibility to select a new space to be updated.

Options

None available.

Result

Spaces within a Layout arrangement will be updated with insulation data. Symbolic views of the spaces are updated with insulation drawn symbolically based on the set-up that has been made.
