Purpose of the Manoeuvring Module

The Manoeuvring Module has been developed to predict the ship manoeuvring characteristics in the early design stages at both level trim and in trimmed conditions, in deep or in shallow waters in calm weather conditions. Hydro has two separate areas of applicability; it can be used for either merchant ship forms or fast displacement warship types such as corvettes, frigates or destroyers.
