Window Zooming

This allows the user to specify the portion of the design that should fill a particular view.

Specify window zooming

  1. Enter window zooming mode by doing ONE of the following:

    • Single-click the Window Zoom Toolbar button, .

    • View Tool method only: Double-click one of the zoom tools in a view (doesn't have to be in the view that you wish to zoom), .

    • Default method only: Double-click on the background in any view.

    • Select VIEW \ ZOOM

      The cursor will change to a crosshair, , to indicate that window zooming mode is selected.

  2. Position the cursor in the view that you wish to zoom.

  3. Click and hold the Left Mouse button to drag a rubber-band box enclosing the area of the scene that you want to magnify.

  4. Releasing the Left Mouse button causes the zoom to take effect, and zooming mode is exited.

To exit zooming mode without performing a zoom, click <Esc>.
