Deck Edge Points Tab

Calc uses the deck edge points defined in this dialog when performing loading calculations and deterministic calculations (as is required by some of the stability criteria), and when performing floodable length calculations.

The deck edge of the vessel is modelled using the x,y,z col-ordinates specified. The X, Y and Z are measured relative to the vessel's origin (units: meters or feet).

Note:
It is recommended that both port and starboard sides are defined, unless all loading cases to be considered will heel to one side only, in which case only that side is required.

The deck edge points can be setup in Surface/Compartment and Released to Calc together with the compartment geometry,
