Errors

If you try to create a one-dimensional reference dimension which is parallel to the centerline of the reference datum element, the result will be as follows:

• Dimensions to piping components or Sections will be omitted and an error message will be given.

• Dimensions to other elements will be created with a different centerline direction, and a warning message given.

• If you try to create a one-dimensional reference dimension where the dimension line runs parallel to the pipe centerline, no dimensions will be plotted and you will be given an error message.
