Include Structure allows you to select sections under a structure (STRU) element, then copy these selections to another structure, with the original elements being deleted.
Note: The database reference numbers of the original elements are not maintained as this is a copy and delete operation. It is not an 'include' operation where the reference numbers of the original elements are maintained.
You must make a graphical selection of the elements to be moved to another structure in a 3D view.
-
Click Include Structure.
You are prompted to Pick Owner Element.
-
Pick an element belonging to the target structure.
The selected elements are copied to that structure, and the original elements are deleted.
The copied elements are in the same position and orientation relative to the target structure element as they were in the original structure element. If the two structure elements have the same position and orientation then the copied elements are in the same position as the original selected elements. The new copied elements are put in the current graphical selection, and the Model Editor handle is shown so that these elements can be repositioned after they have been copied.
