You have options to Add, Delete and Edit container bay definitions.
In addition, you can also click the Container Types button to view a list of Container Types and their properties, and also enter extra Container types.
This dialog uses three tab sheets, and by default on opening, the Container Bay Definition sheet is selected.
This sheet gives a summary of all Container Bays that have been defined by you, including Name, Container Type, No. of rows & tiers, and position of bottom aft corner of bay (the X and Z values in the table).
Editing a Container Bay Definition
Here you are presented with a dialog containing three tab sheets, which is defaulted to the General tab.
you can now edit the following attributes of the selected Bay:
-
Bay title.
-
Container Type - you can also click the Container Types button to check what types are available.
-
Position of bottom aft of corner of bay (X and Z).
-
Number of tiers.
-
Number of rows.
The maximum extents of the bay, in a vertical and transverse sense, are defined by entering integer values in the Number of Tiers and the Max number of Rows entry fields. These two entries size the spreadsheets in the Vertical Distance and Transverse Distance tabs of this dialog, where each cell represents a container slot.
It is to be noted that if a bay is being used in a bay set, then the Number of Tiers, and Max number of Rows entry fields will not allow editing (that means, they are greyed out). This is because weights have been allocated to these container slot locations and altering the bay definition will result in a mismatch of stored array data, that means, the number of weights does not equal the number of bay slots. To be able to edit the bay definition, the bay must be unselected from all bay sets in which it is used.
Note:
Bays are sorted according to distance from the origin (AP) in the list.
