In order to familiarize the user with both the layout of the program and the format of the manual, a brief routine has been devised to serve as an introduction. It is strongly recommended that this is followed by the user as the first step after initializing the program.
The routine is in two parts. The first is to familiarize you with the screen layout of Lines, while the second is to show you what the program can do. As Lines will not allow you to access a command if there is no data for it to work on, we will start by loading a ship into the program.
