Report Editing - Graphs Tab

This page allows you to change (or indeed include) a caption for a graph, change the size of the graph and remove the grid. It also allows you to remove curves from the graph and reorder the curves, although in reality reordering has no effect since the order of curves on a graph is irrelevant.

Report Editing - Graphs Tab
Graph
This is used to select the graph of interest within the report.
Note:
Even graphs that have been removed from the report via the Report Order page are included in this list.
General
|
Caption |
This is the caption for the graph. |
|
Grid |
This is used to turns the grid on or off. |
|
Size |
This allows you to change the width and height of the graph. It is up to you to ensure that the graph size is not too small. If the graph size is too big, then the graph will simply be made to fit a single page. |
Curves
|
Add |
This is used to move a curve from the Possible list to the Required list (that is, reintroduce any previously removed curves). |
|
Remove |
This is used to move a curve from the Required list to the Possible list (that is, remove them from the graph). |
Note:
The same button is used for Adding and Removing curves. When you click in the Possible list, then the button changes to the Add button, and when you click in the Required list, the button changes to the Remove button.
|
Up |
This moves the selected curve up. (Has no visual effect.) |
|
Down |
This moves the selected curve down. (Has no visual effect.) |
|
Reset |
This resets the curve ordering and reinstates the original caption. Thus the graph will look the same as the Hydrostatics/Hydrodynamics default. |
