Fillet Dialog

Open the Fillet dialog

• You can either:

  • Select the menu item LINE \ FILLET....

  • Select the icon in the Lines toolbar.

  

On clicking Fillet with the At Vertex option selected the User is prompted to select the required vertex in a polyline at which the fillet (of given Radius) is to be inserted, modifying the polyline.

If At Vertex is not selected an arc entity of the specified Radius, tangent to two selected curves (whose selection is prompted for) is generated. Which quadrant the arc is generated for, is controlled by which ends of the curves are selected by the User. Additionally if the Trim edges and Join edges options are used, the selected edges will automatically be trimmed and joined together (along with the fillet) respectively.
