Input information on weights to add

This data entered in this dialog, together with the 'tanks' information, must represent the condition of the ship at the time that the experiment took place. The starting point would generally be the previously established lightweight description of the vessel, less any items that may have been taken off, (see the Weights to Come Off tab sheet).

A full ship survey would need to be undertaken in order to establish any 'deadweight' items that are on-board, including stores, spare equipment, , and that are not part of the normal or previous lightweight description and, similarly, any items that are absent that are part of the normal lightweight description. Clearly the survey must record the weight changes that are due to repairs and modifications.
