FCT File

The input facet file (FCT) is in ASCII format and contains the geometry model stored as meshes of triangular facets (See Data Storage), together with other information, such as principal particulars, compartment names, The geometry may be of the hull surface only or it may include the upper deck and internal surface definitions, such as decks and bulkheads,

Note:
The FCT file is being replaced by the Initial Design Geometry XML file and should thus be considered obsolete.
