Thicken Dialog

Open the Groups & Instances Editor dialog

• To open, you can

  • Select the menu item OPERATIONS \ GROUPS... or OPERATIONS \ INSTANCES...

  • Select the or icon in the Operations toolbar.

  • Select an appropriate element, then select the Full View tree’s pop-up menu item EDIT...

  

On clicking Thicken the selected sheet surface is changed to a solid body with the specified Thickness.

This dialog allows the user to create or edit the definition of groups and instances, via the relevant page.

Groups are collections of surfaces which are considered as a single entity whilst retaining the properties of the individual elements.

Instances are copies of a particular group, whose location within the design can be adjusted.

Note:
The thickness is applied according to the surface normal. If the thickness value is negative, the thickness will be applied in the opposite sense to the normal.
