The resulting neutral file is an ordinary ASCII text file, readable with any editor and has a variable record length with a maximum of 134 characters.
For volume information, only one type of primitive is used: the general cylinder which is an orthogonal cylinder defined by a height vector and a directrix consisting of a closed contour.
Apart from geometry data, the neutral format will contain administrative data and identities of different kinds. Description of Neutral File contains a detailed description of the format of the neutral file.
