Snap To Grid Dialog

This dialog is used to control the snap to grid facility on and off. When Enable Snap To Grid is checked, the facility affects all interactive editing of point entities (curve data points, curve control points, patch control points). When being dragged or nudging, points snap to the nearest point of a grid consisting of square cells, the size (side length) of which is specified in Grid Size. This makes precise positioning of points easier.

This grid is not visible, and is not the same thing as the visible scale grid that may be displayed (see Gridline Display), although their units may coincide.
