Curves Graphical Reference

Active curves are controlled using data points (if the curve is fitted) or control points (if it is unfitted). See Curve Manipulation.

There are 7 different types of data point that affect the behavior of curves in different ways.

Three display styles are used to indicate whether curves or regions within them are active or inactive. Inactive curves cannot be edited and do not form patch boundaries. Active curves can be edited, and the active regions of active curves are used to form patch boundaries. Active curves are divided into active and inactive regions using split points.

Various popup menus can be launched by clicking the Right Mouse button on curve entities. These are described in the following subsections.
