Hull Form Options Dialog

Open the Hull Form Options dialog

1. Select FILE / USE / HULL FORM...

   The Use Design dialog opens.

2. Select a Hull Form.

   The Hull Form Options dialog opens.

   

The Type of Hull Form may be Mainhull, Main Deck, Deck, Other or Unknown. Type Unknown should only occur for Hull Forms (DML files) generated before Tribon M3.

The Side will be either Starboard, Port, Both or again Unknown.

The General Particulars are displayed in a scrollable list, detailing the current and Hull Form values. The User may decide whether to overwrite the current values by checking the Update General Particulars box. This is only available if any of the General Particulars are different. Those values that are different are highlighted.

Two options are (possibly) available:

Reflect is available if the hull form only represents the Port or Starboard side of the model. If the sidedness of the model is Unknown, then the User should take care when using this option.

Cover is available for Mainhull models only and then only for those which include both the Port and Starboard side, or if the Reflect option has been chosen.
