Modify Platform Detail

The steel profile Specification References for the Primary and Intermediate spans are manually modifiable to any profile specification in the profile catalogue via a selection mechanism on the Primary Span Profile, Intermediate Span Profile and Profile links, allowing the user to select directly from the steel profile catalogue.

Plate Detail

The Plate Detail tasks allows you to set the plate (grating) thickness and to visualize via the graphical aids the representation and layout of the plate size (this can be modified in the Modify > Layout task panel.

Internal Frame Detail

The Internal Frame Detail tasks allow you to define and set the profile specification and the justification for the primary and intermediate spans and to preview the span spacing and directions. The default aid colour graphic for the Primary direction is turquoise and the intermediate span is represented by the red graphical aids and to distinguish between the two directions the aids can be toggles on or off using the Draw option.

External Frame Detail

The External Frame Detail tasks allow you to define and set the profile specification and the justification for the GENSEC that defines the boundary frame for the Platform, the default aid colour graphic for the External Frame is Orange.
