If equipment is repositioned using the generic positioning commands, the pipes connected to the equipment do not move automatically with the item. The Drag function is used to move constrained networks of Piping, Equipment and Nozzle elements all together. How the constrained network is created depends on the direction of the drag operation and the type of item being dragged. Refer to the Design Reference Manual - Creating the Model for a description of constrained networks and the items that can be dragged.
Click Position > Drag to display the Drag Move window.

To drag an element so that its origin moves a specified direction and distance, refer to Distance.
To drag an element so that its origin or a P-point moves in a specified direction until it lies on a plane perpendicular to the direction moved. The plane is defined relative to a reference point, refer to Through.
To drag an element so that its obstruction volume or P-point is a given clearance from another element, refer to Clearance.
To drag an element a specified distance in a direction relative to a reference element, refer to Towards.
In the Move window the Equipment To Move pane allows the user to click CE to select an element to move.
