This page is used to create viewports for the preset standard Plot Arrangements shown on the relevant buttons. Once the basic viewports have been generated they can be modified via the other pages.

Before clicking the relevant button, first enter the required Generation Parameters.
The Scale field defines the scale as 1/n, where n is the input value.

To add a Grid to the viewports, either select Auto (a system defined grid) or Curves (a grid based on stored orthogonal curves). If a grid is specified, the grid line values can be output using the Numbers toggle.

The Gap Width is used to specify the gap (in media units) between viewports were relevant.

The Media Position Bottom Left panel is used to set a media co-ordinate (U and V) specifying the position of plot arrangement in relation to the bottom left corner of the paper.

The Width and Height of characters displayed with the viewports (that means, axis labels) are specified in media units.
