Positioning Components Either Side of an Object

POSITION DISTANCE INFRONT BEHIND

Description:

This command positions the Component on the constrained centerline at a specified distance from a geometric object, point or position.

Examples:

DISTANCE 30 INFRONT /WALL

The Component will be placed on the Constrained Centerline so that its origin is 30 ‘this side’ of the specified object (see Requirements for the Thermo Library Generation Tool and Requirements for the Thermo Library Generation Tool).

DISTANCE 125 BEHIND IDP @

The Component will be placed such that its origin is 125 the ‘other side’ of the picked p-point. If this point is an Arrive or Leave, then the Tube cross-section will be taken into account (see Requirements for the Thermo Library Generation Tool).

POS PL INF /ACCESS

The Component will be placed such that its Leave Point is zero distance ‘this side’ of the specified object (see Requirements for the Thermo Library Generation Tool).
