Modify Hierarchy Ownership
-
To open the Include form select Modify, then select Hierarchy, then select Include from the main window drop-down.
The Include window opens:

-
The Navigation menu allows the user to navigate to the element which is to be the new owner.

-
Clicking CE sets the currently selected element as the new owner and displays the name of the element next to it.
The Members list allows the user to navigate around the hierarchy to the element which will be moved.
The Included Members pane displays the current list of members already owned by the new owner.
-
If necessary, use the Members list or Navigation menu to navigate to the element that is to be the new owner and click CE to reset.
Note: The Included Members list is updated automatically.
-
In the Included Members list, select an element adjacent to the required insertion position.
-
Set the Before Item/After Item option to specify the exact position relative to the selected member.
-
Select the element(s) which are to be included as members of the new owner in one of the following ways:
-
Navigate to the required element in the Members list and set the option below that list to CE or CE Members, depending on precisely which elements the user wants to move. The user can also set the option to Identified and when prompted use the cursor to pick the elements in the graphical view. After selecting the required press Escape (Esc) to end the command.
-
Click Include to move the selected elements to the new location. If a request is made to move elements to a different database the user is warned that this is an administrator function, and asked to confirm that they want to include across databases. The user performing this operation must have write access to the data being moved and to the new location for this data, and write access to all references to that data.

-
When you have finished with the form, select Control, then select Close to close it.
Reverse Order
-
From the main window drop-down select Modify, select Hierarchy, then select Reverse Order.
Display and member elements below the current selection will be in reverse order.
If you change your mind, you can undo this operation by immediately repeating the command.
