Container Tree View

A specialized tree view listing containers, bay definitions and hatches, together with those surfaces to be tagged as possible obstructions.

Note:
Bay definitions and hatches are listed under their appropriate parent envelope.

Note:
Bay definitions and hatches may be displayed or hidden by clicking on the light bulb image as with any object in the Full View Tree. However, containers are not individually displayed. They are only displayed as part of a bay definition, and as such their display state cannot be changed in this way.

The tree can be used for Drag and Drop functions the same as the Full View Tree. Additionally bay definitions and hatches can be dragged from one envelope to another, causing it to be regenerated for it’s new parent.

A pop-up menu allows various operations to be performed on the selected objects. The available options are listed below:

FLASH

Highlights the selected objects in the current graphics view.

DELETE

Deletes the selected objects (the DELETE key also performs this action).

RENAME

Highlights the name in the tree of the selected item ready for editing.

PROPERTIES...

Calculates relevant data (such as location, container type, number of containers ) for the selected bay definitions and displays it in the Output Window.

MODIFY LAYERS...

Allows the User to move all the selected bay definitions to the layer entered in the Layer dialog.

TOGGLE DISPLAY

Allows the use to toggle the current display setting for all the selected bay definitions.

SET COLOUR...

Allows the User to set the colour of all the selected objects to that chosen in the standard colour selection dialog that appears.

REGENERATE

This gives the following options:

SELECTED

Regenerates the selected bay definitions.

ALL

Regenerates all bay definitions irrespective of any selection made.
