Purpose

Used to check PATCHES for maximum and minimum deviation.

Syntax

CHECK ( PATCH ) ( /ALL )< /BOUNDARY > < /CURVE_TYPE < BUTTOCK  >> ...
(CURVE )  ( $L  )    < SECTION  >
       < WATERLINE >

    ... < /TOL= $N > < /SHOW > </FILE=$F>

Description

Using the PATCH option, checks the specified PATCH or PATCHES to find the maximum and minimum deviation from the curve data points. The /Data_Size option is used to calculate the number of points that will be used to fit the surface. The default is set at 30.

Using the CURVE option, compares changes made to the current curve.

Command Qualifiers

/BOUNDARY

Check boundary continuity between adjacent patches.

/TOL

Tolerance used as maximum distance between adjacent patch boundaries.

/CURVE_TYPE

Check patch against 'curve_type'.

/SHOW

Display points when checking.

/FILE

Output from the command is directed to the given file
