Tank Plan

The purpose of this feature is to manage the definition and use of geometric entities within Calc. Compartments, bulkheads and decks can be imported, renamed and categorized. A tank plan is constructed and displayed, which also forms the basis for loading diagrams in loading condition reports, as well as the interactive loading facility. Another important function is to set up zoning information for probabilistic stability calculations.

The Tankplan diagram is a simple drawing that illustrates the tank and hold arrangement of the vessel, as defined within the input geometry model. The illustration can contain various profile, plan and end elevation/transverse section views at sufficient user-defined sections to clearly show, by their assigned names, the various compartments, tanks, holds and other spaces that are subsequently referred to within the report.

Note:
The Calc user cannot change the hull and/or compartmentation geometry in any way, however he can re-name any of the compartments and specify their structural and damage permeabilities.
