Container Types

The Container Types dialog allows you to setup different container types. For each one, you specifies:

  • A Type to simply help identification.

  • Long Sep, the longitudinal separation between containers of this type (units: millimeters or feet/1000).

  • Trans Sep, the transverse separation between containers of this type (units: millimeters or feet/1000).

  • Vert Sep, the vertical separation between containers of this type (units: millimeters or feet/1000).

  • The Length of the container (units: meters or feet).

  • The Width of the container (units: meters or feet).

  • The Height of the container (units: meters or feet).

  • Wt Empty, the empty weight of the container (units: tonnes or tons).

  • VCG Empty, the VCG of an empty container measured from its base, expressed as a percentage value of the height (no units).

  • Wt Full, the maximum laden weight of the container (units: tonnes or tons).

  • VCG Full, the vcg of a loaded container measured from its base, expressed as a percentage value of the height (no units).

  • The Colour to display the container type in graphics windows, selected from the drop down list.

Calc is supplied with 15 specific container types (9 ISO and 6 Special) as defaults.
