Entry to System - *12​.1​.SP5*

Entry to the system has been changed to allow direct entry to any module, without the need to go via Monitor. The login form is presented with the appropriate splash screen. Desktop and Start menu shortcuts are provided for the popular options.

The option "Integrate Engineering and Schematics" is removed from Login (affects both monitor and direct module login).

The license features ENGI-DB-RO-ACCESS and SCHE-DB-RO-ACCESS are no longer needed for any module to grant read access to engi and sche databases.

Note:
The console window may be suppressed by using a –noconsole argument to the start-up script. It may also be controlled using an environment variable: if you wish to run the system with the console hidden, use:
set AVEVA_NOCONSOLE=TRUE
