Dynamic Panning

Dynamic panning has the same effect as hand panning, and the method itself is only slightly different.
View Tool method only:

Place the cursor over the pan tool in the view window that you wish to pan,

Hold down the Left Mouse button and movw the mouse forward, back, left and right moves the scene relative to the view window in a very similar way to hand panning.
Default method only:

Hold down <Shift>.
The cursor changes to the
icon.

Keep <Shift> and the Left Mouse button held down whilst moving the mouse forward, backward up and down the move the scene relative to the view window.

Whilst dynamic panning the cursor disappears from the screen, and reappears once the Left Mouse button is released.
